Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences.

In order to be accepted into Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences, applicant must be the holder of advanced level certificate of secondary education with three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 6 points: A minimum of C grade in Chemistry and D grade in Biology and at least E grade in Physics.

Diploma in Laboratory Technology.

In order to be accepted into diploma in Laboratory Technology offered at Sokoine university of agriculture, applicant must be High school students who have passed Advanced Level certificates with passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics must have passed one of these subjects at the Principal level with two points (E grade). The Candidates must also have passed Biology at credit level in CSEE, or Basic Technician Certificate from a recognized institution, or a Certificate of Secondary Education with passes in Biology and Chemistry. Trade test certificates must be at least grade II.

Diploma in Science and Laboratory Technology.

In order to be accepted into ordinary Diploma in Science and Laboratory Technology programme offered at the Muslim university of Morogoro, and Mwenge catholic university, applicant must be form four graduate with at least four (4) passes in his/her Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE).

The passes must be in either Physics/Engineering Science, English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Basic Mathematics OR National Vocational Award (NVA) III or Trade Test Grade I with Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE)
